Resume Tips (1).png
  • DO"S

  • 1. A one-page resume is preferable; however, two pages will work when there is ample experience to showcase.

  • 2. Highlight relevant skills and experience in the resume based on the job description.

  • 3. Use bullet points rather than paragraphs in the resume to increase its clarity and readability.

  • 4. Include numbers in the accomplishment section to quantify accomplishments.

  • 5. Start the achievement bullet points with verbs such as led, developed, improved. _______________________________________________________________

  • DONT"S

  • 1. Do not mention an unimportant experience unless it has relevance to the position you have applied for.

  • 2. Do not use common terms and buzzwords. Rather highlight your skills with proven accomplishments.

  • 3. Do not write large chunks of text because they are mostly ignored by recruiters.

  • 4. Mention your achievements, not merely duties.

  • 5. Avoid writing small font size in order to fit much in your resume. Edit your resume accordingly.

  • 6. Remove unnecessary information such as personal address, references, objectives.
