Accepting Referrals

The Women’s Resource Center, Inc. (WRC), in partnership with the Institute for Psychological Services
(IPS), provides a State of Texas Certified Batterer Intervention & Prevention Program serving the
Houston area. Our program has operated continuously for more than seven years and is designed to
promote accountability, behavior change, and healthier relationships.
 

Program Highlights

•  Minimum 18 weekly sessions (2 hours each)

•  Evening sessions at 6:30 PM

•  Virtual participation available to support employment

•  Male–female co-facilitated leadership model

•  Focus on power & control, communication, accountability, and relationship skills

• Certificate issued upon successful completion

 

If additional sessions are needed, they may be arranged in consultation with the referring attorney or
supervising agency.
Referral Process
Referrals should include participant contact information, case details, incident overview, and payment
confirmation. Attorneys are encouraged to identify goals that support successful completion. See our

Fees:
$40 per session (minimum 18 sessions)
Payment confirmation is required before enrollment.
