I'm a mother of 5 children without any financial resources or a place to live. Because of my situation with domestic violence, I did contact the Women's Resource Center and was able to work an arrangement to secure housing, receive food for my children and register them for school. WRC Houston's professionalism and attention to my case really made me feel accepted and valued as a human.
