SATURDAY WELLNESS MISSION
Our Saturday Wellness Mission is to empower individuals and families to create a whole-body wellness emphasis for their lifestyle. Our programs are designed to help organizations and corporations provide a guide of belief systems, and wellness practices.

Each week and every Saturday of the month, WRC Houston presents virtually and (in hybrid format) Mental Health, Wellness, and Prrevention Strategies for whole body wellness with instructors and professional trainers with years of experience. People of color and low-income families tend to have higher incidences of obesity, high blood pressure, cancer, diabetes, and stroke and we provide wellness services to help these communities. This is prevalent among both male and females and results in higher rates of death. The goal is to decrease disparities among African American and low-income residents in our communities. The objective is to join the Mind-Body-Spirit connections and improve our surrounding communities. The focus is on healthy practices within the workplace, communities and in our homes being the key driving centers.

Online and Hybrid Programs include:
· Sharing health information with family and others
· Site visitations to identify mental health and physical habits and needs.
· Plan leadership activities for community access to wellness resources.
· Create family outreach activities, virtual, and website activities or groups.
Our meetings are held online, virtually and in person and we offer certifications if attendees desire to pursue more education and wellness.
